If you like taking a short walk, cheerful and friendly Comox shops, eateries and marina are pleasantly reached by foot, quaint 5th Avenue and the abundant amenities of Down Town Courtenay are only a short scenic drive away and the Comox Valleys other bountiful choice of recreational activity and places of interest are also very close by.
While you go by your day the natural and majestic beauty of this ‘Beautiful Island’ can be seen and experienced in your every moment.

Getting to Comox
The Comox Valley, Vancouver Island is accessed by the second largest airport on Vancouver Island which offers daily flights to Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver as well as seasonal service to Puerto Vallarta. Flights are offered by West Jet, Pacific Coast Airlines, Island Express Air, Air Canada and Central Mountain. Harbour Air also provides daily service between Vancouver and Comox Harbours.
Comox is also accessed by BC Ferries departing mainland terminals located in Vancouver (Horseshoe Bay and Tsawwassen), Powell River and Prince Rupert and arriving at terminals located in Nanaimo (Departure Bay and Duke Point), Comox and Port Hardy. Visit bcferries.com for information and schedules. Additional ferry service from USA is available from Port Angeles to Victoria or Anacortes to Sydney.
Comox is centrally located, approximately 1 ¼ hour (117 km) drive north of Nanaimo, and 2 ½ hour (227 km) drive north of Victoria. For those driving from the North Island, the Comox Valley is approximately a 3 hour (280 km) from Port Hardy
